Beautiful, Michelle. My rose garden is winding down for the season as we enter our Autumn. It’s comforting to think that roses will be blooming SOMEWHERE while it is Winter here.
I read once ” If you love a flower don’t pick it up, If you pick it up it dies and ceases to be what you love, So if you love a flower let it be, Love is not about possession, Love is about Appreciation.” ~~~OSHO~~~
Thank you Michelle, When I was looking at your lovely blog, I saw a cause I was very interested in, BLOGGERS FOR PEACE, I joined, got my button, and did my first post on it, since I found it here, I would like you to be the first person I link up with, but I’m not sure how, can you enlighten me? Thank you, and what a wonderful cause!!!
I will pop over and visit your post 🙂
*hugs*
Thank you Michelle
Thank you, Michelle, for my first one, I just submitted a poem, and a few pictures of things that are peaceful things to me, and I am going to enter the monthly Challenges, all of them, and help spread the word, the reason I chose the swans is because they are in a lake right off my house, and I go there to see them whenever I need some peace and tranquility, it is a real quiet time for me, I hope I am doing this right, if not, please steer me in the right direction! : )
You are doing this correctly Annmarie. As far as I know we should post one peace post once per month. 🙂
Great, I will, I think it is so wonderful, xoxoxo
Michelle, I think I got it now, stay tuned for my next post, I’ll let you know when it is ready, ” World Peace” : ) I love your blog it is so beautiful! : )
Oh wow Michelle! This is one stunning shot and what a gorgeous rose! You’ve captured it beautifully my friend. I love it! I agree with you. They last longer too when not picked and you can enjoy their beauty more. 😀 Thanks for sharing. *big hugs*
if it is the only one i can resist to pick it…but more than one, i have this “flower picking urge problem delux model 1″…lol…(for someone special) 🙂 it gets complex…have a wonderfull day you…
I prefer leaving the flowers in the garden so that passersby can enjoy them. Unfortunately, the deer love to nibble on my roses…they don’t last very long. Oh well…c’est la vie. 🙂
I’m glad you did, Hope. She is beautiful. Pawkiss 🙂
Thank you angel 🙂

Much better indeed to let the perfume waft around the garden and the beauty entice you there.
So true that, Col…it does have the most divine scent.

Wow! Beautiful! I didn’t know you lived in South Africa! How long have you lived there?
I was born here, whitefeather 🙂
*hugs*
Wow! It must be beautiful there all the time since you have such glorious flowers in your yard! What is the weather like there year ’round?
It can get quite cold in winter but no snow, and summers are really hot most of the time 🙂
*hugs*
They are so much lovelier in a natural setting.
I totally agree with you.

Just perfect… Diane

A lovely rose, indeed. They’re so much happier on the bush, than in a vase. 🙂 Hugs to you.
Thay are, thanks ad 🙂

Aw, that is so sweet that they nibble at the flowers, but then I suppose in that case its also quite ok to pick them for the house 🙂
*hugs*
I also favor the living variety 🙂
Me too 🙂
