What was your favorite plaything as a child? Do you see any connection between your life now, and your favorite childhood toy?
My favourite toy as a child was a doll which I named Anne. I recall cutting a slit in her mouth so that I could try to feed her. She was my constant companion for many years.
Connection? I don’t know, maybe. I make molds for all sorts of things that people want and I also make porcelain portrait dolls 🙂

I had a doll named Chrissy. She was about the size of 2yr. old and I carried her everywhere. Now I carry 2 year old children around for a living!!… I’m seeing the connection. lol!!

My favourite doll name was Beatrice! I loved that name! Also I had a porcelain doll, which was from my grandmother. One day I’ll show you all in a post too!

I had plastic ones too but they are all gone as the plastic got sticky and we had to throw them. All the china dolls are well intact obviously iwht some fingers broken… 🙂

Anne is really beautiful. I love the crochet dress, they remind me of Granny’s dolls dresses. Grannny had a puppet with a pig head. He had to go everywhere with her for 11 years, his name was Crobs…must have been a vegetarian, I guess. Pawkisses 🙂

I loved my barbie dolls! LOVED them I played with them till I was 12! I don’t see any connection between me now and me then but hopefully soon I will!

I was never much of a doll person. If I did play, it would either be with my stuffed toys or my bro’s Lego

Anne is perfectly beautiful and there is definitely a connection to your adult life! I wish I could remember my favorite plaything.

I can’t remember one specific doll (a long time ago) but I had many…I loved dolls and the only thing I would ask for Christmas from ‘Santa’ was a doll and maybe doll clothes.. I don’t think as many little girls have the same attachment to them now days… Diane

lol I forget you’re not in the US… but they are boy toys!! haha I had 6 brothers! dolls were stupid! hehehe although I did have a Raggedy Ann and Andy! they were soft cloth dolls! just never played with them much! 🙂
