Daily Prompt:
Do you believe in fate or do you believe you can control your own destiny?
♥
This is a tough one to answer. I think that our destinies are intertwined with the souls we are connected with. I know that some people feel that they were possibly preordained to meet the people they are with now; like their children, husbands and wives.
For me, I think our “destinies,” could vary according to our needs. I do also believe that sometimes, on those very rare occasions, when we meet or come into contact with a person where the soul connection is undeniable (not only talking about love here) then I’m sure that there is more to it than just chance.
“Even when you think you have your life all mapped out, things happen that shape your destiny in ways you might never even have imagined. The coincidences or little miracles that happen every day of your life are hints that the universe has much bigger plans for you than you ever dreamed of for yourself.”

For: The Daily Prompt
All I can say is I never liked Doris Day songs and Deepak Chopra is a borderline charlatan and just way too weird for me.
I listened to the song, thought I’d post it, but decided I just don’t feel like it. I like Deepak most of the time, but not always.

He is a flavour not to everyone’s liking, and he has an air about him that sometimes comes across in videos as not quite as humble as one is often led to believe.
Phew…how’s that for couching my terms? 🙂
Its like I said, “most of the time” 🙂
I feel the same way. Great post Michelle. 😀
Thank you Sonel 🙂

great post, was having a coffee, when i ran into a new friend, and while we passed a half hour making talk, we wondered the universe of the mind, and it happens when we least expect, amen, blessings to you, your post is a timely reminder
My pleasure and thank you.

It’d rather be best, I think, to leave to fate the things that we do not have control over and for those that we control let’s give them our best. I’d like to believe that fate and destiny should not be a matter of choice. Where it does not fit into one it may fit into the other, like there is always a foot that fits every shoe.
Nice blog. I’ve been one of your avid followers.
Thank you for popping in Maxim, and also thank you for sharing your opinion.

That is definitely a thought provoking question.
It is, thanks Tess 🙂

I’m still not sure about this, but I agree that life is full of small miracles, if we open ourselves to receive them. 🙂
I agree ad 🙂

Hugs to you too. 🙂
🙂
I like to think that I’m responsible for how I react to the things that happen around me.
Whether I’m right or wrong is something I’ll never know, so I’ll just go on as I have been.
But this question will probably be on my mind the rest of the day…
It is a good question, El. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙂

funny how you worded that question as an either/or…because I don’t believe in either. We have too many choices in life to think something could know in advance what we would choose, even God .. I don’t think can know what we will do in advance. He may know all, but I can’t reconcile the fact that he knows it before we make up our stupid minds. hehehe same goes with destiny, there are too many roads to take, how can one be the only one? I truly believe we make our own lives, draw certain people to us like flowers draw bee’s, or maybe the way water carries a fish, and we make the choices that make us. We mold our destiny, who we become is shaped by each choice we make each second, and we can always change. Those who believe people can’t change, are blinded by their own refusals to change. 🙂 jus sayin…
I like how you think, thanks so much.

I like to listen to those who think they know about fate and preordained events. But I prefer to look inside myself for more realistic answers. You have left some real food for thought here *hugs*.
I agree with you Dor, Thank you.

Things happen for a reason and we need to embrace it and make the most out of life. It is not always as we want but that is the surprises we got… and so we don’t get bored.. hehe
Love that, thank you Ute 🙂

I don’t really believe in destiny. I do think that all things work out in the end. I do believe that God watches over us and that good things happen. But, to think I am in control of everything in my life or to think I can’t control anything in my life? – No so, say I.
Thanks you for your thoughts, Scott 🙂
