The Daily Prompt:

“Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense.” — Gertrude Stein
Do you agree?

I don’t really think that people lose their common sense by taking in new information no matter how much information there is.

Common sense basically boils down to logic. In my humble opinion, some people have logical thought processes whilst others don’t have, or they have lesser or more degrees thereof.

In fact, I would think that the wider ones general knowledge is or, the better informed we were, the better we would be at making proper decisions – except when throwing logic out of the window and making our decisions emotionally. Now there is a whole new post I might write about some time – “Emotional Decision Making.” Ugh. Watch this space.

I thought I’d add this quote that made me smile…

“Common sense is not so common.”
– Voltaire

There’s another one on the driveway that is creeping up the cacti. It looks quite spectacular.
