what’s the one thing you do to feel human again?
Some may know that I have returned from being away recently. My reply to the question: nothing. Nothing I did made me feel better and back to life again. I was absolutely drained. My sleeping was more out of sync than usual and then of course the dreaming.
What made me feel so awful as well was although I was happy to be back in South Africa, I was also not happy about all the violence and aggressive attitudes here. The contrast on the attitudes and outlook on life from where I had been is so different. The sad part is that this is where I belong, I was born here. Dot get me wrong, I love my country but there are some things…anyway, I digress.
I reckon the only thing that does help is just to try to sleep whenever one is tired or jet lagged (which is not always possible though) and eventually things will get back to normal again.
