You’re embarking on a yearlong round-the-world adventure, and can take only one small object with you to remind you of home. What do you bring along for the trip?
❤
This is a tough one. I don’t think I’d spend a year away from home unless I can take my family and naturally included in the family is my cat. As far as a material object to remind me of home, well, I can’t think of one. I recon my memories of home are bigger than an object.
❤
I am combining today’s prompt with the weekly pet challenge.
Above is a photo of my cat “His Royal Highness” in a rather pensive mood.
Click on the logo below if you’d like to take part too 🙂
My guitar,,but it’s not small 😦
I’m sure you’ll make a plan with it though Tiger 🙂

A great combination for the challenges.
I couldn’t live without kitty either. She’s too cuddly to live without and we each need the other.
I understand exactly, Tess ❤

❤ ❤
I knew you would.

Only one? Onnnnly one?
I agree, one is just no enough 🙂

My phone which is more a camera than a phone of late : )
Good answer 🙂 My phone also doubles as a camera most of the time 🙂
*Hugs*
So does mine and if I had the roaming turned on I would be broke !
🙂
I reckon “His Royal Highness” would be your small memento that would remind you of home. 🙂
You’re right, cats do make a house a home 🙂 Thanks Dor.

I do love HRH. He is so adorable. I don’t have any pets but when I did they were my children and part of the family. 😀
He really is an adorable cat 🙂 Thanks Raewyn, they do become part of the family 🙂

If I take Syd, which of course I have too, I need to take a full couch and bed. Add the boys and their stuff, the only room I have left is maybe the clothes on my back. I suppose I should start preparing for this trip……..
lol, yep, I reckon the couch could be a problem. 😀

yes, it is a tad too big….

🙂 What would I take, my violin (that took no time to figure out). But I’m only planning to do this world round-trip when all three of mine are nicely independent, and before they have kiddies of their own for which they need my help.
Do I go alone, or do I get to take Hubbs along? (Wouldn’t mind either, just quite sure he would mind)
Sounds like a good plan, gipsika 🙂

Gorgeous photo, Michelle. Well, I won’t be going anywhere because I could never narrow down to one item — not with 7 cats and 2 dogs! I can’t even take a vacation! HA! 🙂
I know the feeling Linda 🙂

He may be pensive but there’s a hint of a smile there 😉
I agree with you 🙂
*Hugs*
Looks like he’s pensive, because he didn’t know what you would have answered on the question. I bet the picture after writing, was much more smiling 😀 Pawkisses 🙂
He is generally a very happy kitty 🙂 Sometimes he stops and thinks deep thoughts 🙂 ❤
*Hugs*
I agree Michelle, I couldn’t leave my pets for a whole year not for anything. HRH is definitely Jazzy’s twin on this pic. 🙂
Most definitely on both 🙂
