When I get a few minutes to spare I love taking a walk through my garden in the mornings. This morning I saw this beautiful little Pansy peeping out between some greenery. I was taken aback by its beautiful colours, and quite honestly don’t remember choosing this particular Pansy as a seedling when I planted them. I did get a tray where the flowers hadn’t started blooming yet, and what a lovely surprise. I think the colours are just awesome, and do you notice the little splotch of purple on the petal to the right? Absolute beauty 🙂

For the Daily Prompt: What will your goals for 2014 be? It’s never to early to start thinking about self improvement!
Wow this really pops! And nice to see as we’re having a very dreary raw day.
I’m so glad that you like it, and that it brightened up your day 🙂
*hugs*
It did. Though I suppose our pouring rain is better than a few feet of snow. That can happen any time now.
Hope your weather improves. Keep warm.
Thanks. I’ll be warm again in June. 🙂
🙂
Oh, what a beautiful surprise 🙂
It really is 🙂
*hugs*
Beautiful… I have never seen this colour combination before…
Me neither, Bulldog…I am in awe…
*hugs*
That’s a beautiful pic and flower.
I have a single pansy in the garden..a purple one.
That single Pansy must look gorgeous!
*hugs*
It is surrounded by…almost lost…among a patch of violas that I must thin out sometime.
I’ll try to post pics sometime.
I will keep my peepers open for that post 🙂
A very nice surprise! The red and black looks kind of like a fuzzy face on the flower. Nice work!
It does. In Afrikaans they call Pansies “Gesigies” which roughly translated means little faces 🙂
*hugs*
LOL if it’s a face it must be a tiny Wookie.
Thats cute 🙂
*hugs*
this is stunning – before this adorable flower begins to wilt, you should press it – it would make a lovely vision to look at long after it’s life has lived it’s course.
Now that is a brilliant idea! I think I will do just that 🙂
*Hugs*
Great colors! Great photo Michelle!
Thanks so much, Marty 🙂
*Hugs*

Beautiful, Happy. Doesn’t the pansy look like a paint experiment of a young child?
I’m with you about the constant self-improvement and self-criticism. For a little lightness on the side, have a look at today’s guidance card on my blog 😉
I’ll pop over there, aq 🙂
*hugs*
Enchanting colours. Looks like the pansy has her purple bonnet on. 🙂 Most unusual combination. Divine.
I also thought the colour combo was most unusual. I’ve never anything like it before in nature 🙂
