I don’t live near the sea, but when I do have the opportunity, I love taking a trip down to the South African Coast. This picture was taken on the Natal coast. Whenever I am at the sea I am always in total awe of its power.
Gorgeous shot! I live quite near the ocean but not near the open waters like that… it’s a whole different kind of vibrancy that I love when you get to hear the waves crashing – so peaceful.
I love looking at the sea/ocean. There is an enormous strength and power, but it i so calming at the same time – a bit of an oxymoron. Of course, if you are siting on a boat , it may not be an oxymoron:)
takes me 3 mins and i’m wet…i cant tell you how life giving the sea air is for me(i have a breathing problem ) it has never failed me yet….so near it i must find myself or else…
do i look worried? Have a nice day!
one day i will blog again i hope…

I agree, it is lovely just listening to the waves crashing and the smell in the air.

Great thought. It is powerful. If I want to feel small I like to stand by Lake Michigan and then mother nature puts me RIGHT back in my place!
I know the feeling, thanks Jasmine.

Beautiful 🙂
Thank you, angel 🙂

I live minutes away from the beach and still don’t find myself there often enough.
How lucky you are to be living so close, Phil!

You are in ahead of those of us who live on the edge of it!
Lovely colourful shot.
At the moment that sea is looking very angry and menacing!
Hope it calms soon, Col.

Water has a tranquilizing effect on humans. 🙂

Had a short boat ride off of the coast of Cape Horn. One of my most frightening moments on the sea – quite powerful out there! Thanks for the memory.
Thanks Tine.
