I usually wake up in a very blonde state, so here with my first thoughts when waking up this morning.
In my morning slumber I hear music, and I semi wake up wondering what that music is. It is then that I realise that is is in fact my morning alarm doing its music playing at exactly 4:55 am. My first thought is “oh no, it can be morning already!” I push the snooze button, and two minutes later I wonder again what that music is, and I realise, that it’s the alarm music. I then force myself awake and do my OCD shower calculations for a minute so that I don’t get stuck counting in the shower…amongst thinking about an email I need to send urgently and another reference number I have to find and so my thoughts roll on throughout the day…
My usual first thoughts on waking is – “Damn!! I have to wake up already!”
Mom usually phones me awake and I always think, No! not yet!!
And that is just the cutest little cat
I love that cat pic and your mom is very sweet to phone you awake ghiatjie

If she does not phone me, I will never wake up!!
Used to be my dad’s job that. Spoke to him the morning he died too…

You wake up very early in the morning, I prefer my 6am alarm. Looks like a lie in for you….
6 am is a lie in for me and on weekends when I can I actually stay in bed until around 7, but I cant stay in bed any longer than that

Your mental activity so early is amazing. I’m sure my brainwaves almost flatline until at least after first cup of tea.
Thats what you think but I’m sure your brain is busy making rhymes and creating new stories all the time

I am usually up between 3:30 and 4. I have no reason, no alarm, I just am. It’s actually my favorite time of day.
It is a beautiful time of day. It is so peaceful and quiet.

I wish I could get up that early, I always run out of time for the things I want to do.
One gets used to getting up that early after a while

4.55am? I’ve heard that it existed but never really believed it until now
I jest.
Work days I get up at 5.50am, Weekends much earlier (because I’m so excited that I can stay in bed all morning the adrenaline flings me out of bed).
