No, not so much…

Today’s Daily Prompt: When was the last time someone told you they were proud of you?

Oh no!  I can’t even think of when last or when someone was proud of me.  In fact, I can’t even think of an instance that I could retell from years back.
I do tell my children that I am proud of them, often.  Does that count?
*hugs*

  2. I’m proud of you. There. I am proud of you for being authentic and vulnerable.

My friends recently told me they were proud of me when I copied them on the email I sent my ex where I stood up for myself. I knew it would not have more than a fleeting effect on him, but for me it was a milestone. Great photo here!

  3. Absolutely – telling your kids how proud of them you are counts! And be proud of yourself ~ I will add my kudos to the list here, and tell you that I am proud of you for getting out here in the blog-o-sphere and posting. Takes courage, and you rock!

  5. What makes you think that your children are’nt proud of you, huggs. Of course
they are they just don’t tell you so, as I’m sure they are so busy making a life for
themselves that they do not have the time to tell you so. Remember how busy
you used to be their age? I bet you never told your mom that you were proud of
her. Youre getting old enough now not to worry about little things like that. You
are a beautiful, educated woman, and still very young with your hole life before
you. Were all proud of you so go on and enjoy life ‘lovies’ RvdL

    • No Rita, I don’t expect that from my kids. They are perfect in my eyes, its just that the prompt asks us when last did someone tell us they are proud of us. I said that I cannot remember something like that, but does the fact that I do tell my kids that count. It is in reply to the prompt :)

  7. Your children are surely proud of you but don’t realise parents also need to hear it.

I cant believe that is an old Necchi. I had one a lot more modern for many years until it rusted having been well watered during a flood i had at home
