Todays Prompt: “Think global, act local.” Write a post connecting a global issue to a personal one.

There was a day in my life that I was in turmoil and totally confused.  I had a car accident and had a few broken bones.  I was still in my teens.  All I saw around me in the hospital every day were people going about there business, nurses doing there work and doctors being doctors.  I was just another patient in their busy day… but one day, a nurse walked into my ward, even with all the pain medication I noticed her kindness.  She was just so kind to me.  She taught me kindness through her actions, she made an imprint in my heart, she infected me with her kindness.

If I think about it, kindness shouldn’t stand out like that, it should be something that we are all used to, it should be how we treat each other every day.  You never know who needs and act of kindness no matter how brave and strong people try to appear.

Sometimes a gentle smile to a passerby could just change that persons day for them…  I know many will think how there she goes again abut kindness and love, but I mean it.

A simple deed of kindness will not take anything away from us, it shouldn’t be much of an effort and according to the law of attraction, the more you give out the more you will receive.

I don’t have the words to express how much the acts of kindness towards me have made a huge impact on myself.  Just show a little kindness every day, it could become a global phenomenon…

Kindness is my motto

 *hugs*
