Burning down the house…

Daily Prompt:  Your home is on fire. Grab five items (assume all people and animals are safe). What did you grab?

Assuming everyone is safe I reckon I would grab my car keys, handbag (which contains credit card, money, id doc’s etc) the set of portraits of my children growing up, laptop, and the small moveable safe.  I may have to leave one of these if the car counts as an item, in which case I would have to leave the laptop.

*hugs*

I think this version is much better than the Talking heads, don’t you think?

  2. It would be awful to have to make a choice. I think my MacBook Air, iPod, camera, passport and purse. I have no idea how I would manage without car keys, but hubby could grab those. :) I love Tom Jones. Hugs

  3. I wouldn’t count the car, unless you park it in the house. Actually, I kind of do, it’s in a garage attached to the house and I most certainly would not leave it there if I had time to move it.

  4. Ok you made me think hard on this one. It would have to be our 3 guitars and the glass plate photo of me and my daughter and our wedding pic. Can I have 6? LOL

  6. I thought about this earlier and the items I picked are – a box with old photos, my camera bag with the camera and all the lenses, hard disk with more photos, my laptop and cell phone. I didn’t think of car keys, purse (for credit cards) or passport – maybe because all of these things can be obtained again. However the photos could not and also I would want to have my phone and laptop, not just to keep in touch but because of all the data stored in them!
