The challenge this week is love, something that has baffled me for many years now.
This is how I see love.
♥ ♥ ♥
There are differently kinds of love; the way a mother/father loves his/her children…
Also, sibling love…
(I wanted to insert a pic of my children here but middle daughter has given me strict instructions never to post her pictures, eldest has beautiful pics which I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post because they are from the agency and on top is my special little angel)
♥ ♥ ♥
Romantic love…
I love this quote and was waiting for a chance to use it:
“No, I don’t think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That’s what’s wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.” – Gone with the Wind
♥ ♥ ♥
And of course last but certainly not least, unconditional love…

Here’s another quote which is quite famous whish I like:
“Love means never having to say you’re sorry.” – Ali MacGraw, Love Story
In my whole entire life I seem to have had to apologise so often and there has only been one person ever, who has told me over and over that I never have to say “I’m sorry…”
♥ ♥ ♥

funny old love thing is love
I sometimes joke that I love my doggies more than my children, now of course that isn’t correct, but it kind of sums up how much they mean to me. Have a great weekend
It is a funny old thing…
Lovely weekend to you too Ruth.

Love is a difficult emotion to pinpoint with pictures – I don’t seem to have any that I feel that would portray this properly, so I’ll leave off this challenge.
Good post though Esperanza.
Thanks ghiatjie, I understand.

I loved this post and the photos, of course I’m dog crazy. A very lovely sensitivity shows here with the respect to not post photos your daughter asked about and to honor the other (a professional model?) and then your response of a lump in your throat. I was just about to write, I feel you, but decided instead to say you made me feel something tender. Thank you.
Thank you so much. My daughter is with a modeling agency. Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate them very much.

Your unconditional love photo brought a lump to my throat because I had a Golden named Carrie who grew old and of course looked just like that.
They are truly such wonderful friends to have, doran. My retriever is such a loving old soul.
Sorry you are missing your Carrie.

I think love may mean saying you are sorry; however, looking at the quote, it may mean you don’t HAVE to, but, perhaps, should at times. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but it’s how I feel.
Scott
I see your point, Scott – I’m seeing it from the view of people expecting an apology when it isn’t really necessary…old wounds talking I think.

great images…what a cute dog
Thank you Jo.
