Daily Prompt: You’re locked in a room with your greatest fear. Describe what’s in the room.
When I read the daily prompt I thought why couldn’t they rather have asked who you’d like to be stuck in a room with
My greatest fear at that stage though, my own shadows, my nightmares, but I don’t want to write about it today though… but in a nutshell, a room filled with dark shadows, fear, a particular person…that room - don’t put in the in it. Even now, don’t put me there.
Sounds like your fear is based on some past reality Hope, in which case it is entirely justified.
It is, you are quite right optie.

The best thing about these prompts is that you can do what you did–say “Not now.” That’s empowering. Maybe even empowering enough to help you face that fear because you know that you are in control of yourself.
I actually did feel a empowered when I said “not now” with this prompt, Lorna

I never thought about it. I would just hate to be in a locked room – period. Maybe these piece will be a part of you facing your fear…
I agree, being locked in a room is not appealing at all.

when I was kid I was afraid of ghosts but now I believe human beings are scarier.
There are some very scary humans around, Nafees – but also some very good ones too.

I think one’s thoughts can be very scary… To be alone with your thoughts you have to get comfortable with yourself.
I agree with you adee. I am pleased to say that I am beginning to make friends with myself lately

There are real dangers when in a dark, locked room, but, for me, a dark, locked room with spiders.
Scott
Oh I agree, Scott.
