This here is daughters cat who has taken to sleeping on my bed more often lately. I like it because when its cold I push my feet under her which she does not seem to mind. She is a rather arrogant old girl though. Anyway, last night I was woken with a sharp bite in my toe, seems I put my foot on her in my sleep and she probably got quite a fright and bit my toe. She was not the only one who got a fright though. I asked her gently why she did that and she looked back at me with a very irritated look and said, as usual “meh!” I said sorry and after a few cuddles she went back to sleep purring. There is nothing better than listening to a cat purr.
As you can see she was not too impressed (top pic) with the flash from the cell phone camera

The cats that sometimes grace me with their presence only purr until they want food. And that only the black one. The white one does not even bother.
And they only come near my bed if it’s very cold or very rainy.
But, every afternoon when I get home, I have a whole welcoming party waiting for me

My cat was a great cuddler. One winter morning I woke up and found the two of us lying back to back to keep warm. She had stretched herself all the way to match up with my back.

It’s so hard to get a picture of the cats with the flash. They always blink! I love snugglie kitties. One of mine still tries nuzzles your neck like she’s trying to nurse. It’s the sweetest thing… until she gets her claws going.
I know the feeling with the claws. I actually didn’t realize I had the flash on. What I really wanted to do was take a pic of her sleeping peacefully – and then I woke her with the flash

Cozy post! One of our cats communicates by biting… but the other one is too sweet to bite. The biter has the loudest purr, so I guess that makes up for it.

Agreed! “There is nothing better than listening to a cat purr.” Did you know that scientists can’t find out why they do? I think it’s to comfort humans. We don’t let the barn cats in the house so sometimes I go out and sit in the hay with them and let them purr me back to peace…
